Located on the South East side of the
island, just outside of the Ibiza's main family resort of
Santa Eulalia, Playa es Cana is a small quiet resort very close to some of Ibiza's best
restaurants and sights. The beach is perfect for families with young children with golden sand, and clean cobalt sea you can easily while away your
holiday here.
There are plenty of things to do from visiting the nearby Punta Arabi Hippy Market which is held every Wednesday from 10am-7pm there is a great variety of products on sale here from clothes, to hand made to measure leather moccasins, ornaments, and jewellery.
There are many
Caves in Ibiza which are great for a peaceful walk, exploring, and finding out new and interesting facts. The
Santa Eulalia cave is quite magnificent, inside are stalactites. Or you could visit the Underground Tombs they are one of the largest and best preserved underground tombs in the world. A huge 50,000 square meters it provides you with an understanding of the Phoenician civilization. A must on your visit to
Ibiza Island.
You could head into
San Antonio one evening for a wild night out. Europe's leading
nightclubs are in Ibiza. Es Paradis, Space, Amnesia, Manumission, or Cream, not forgetting the sunset bar
Cafe del Mar. Head for the West End for the bars to start the evening then onto the Harbour for the
Nightclubs. There are no dress codes in the
bars and
clubs, although people dress up. Often if your outfit is outrageous you get in
free of charge.
