Figueretas
Situated on the southern end of
Ibiza, Figueretas is a small town in between
Ibiza town and
Playa den Bossa. There are plenty of
restaurants,
cafes, shops, and
bars. The beach is clean with golden fine sand, and calm cobalt mediterranean waters. Just 5mins drive or 20mins walk to
Ibiza town and Playa den Bossa you can really have the best of both worlds on your holiday in Figueretas.
The nearest waterpark is the larger of the two in Ibiza, based in Playa den Bossa the Aguamar Water Park has over 14 slides, plus swimming pools, and many cafes. It is easily found, just behind the beach, next to the Space nightclub.
There are many natural and historical sights in Ibiza, from the
Arabic ruins, which is a network of watering areas built by the Moors during the 8th Century. To the
Salt Lakes, located on the southern most tips of
Ibiza island, they have been utilised for over 2000 years, and are an important part of history as the Carthaginian's traded salt, they used to call it "white gold". It is a really beautiful area especially at sunset, a great photo opportunity.
Not far from the
nightlife in Ibiza town and Playa den Bossa you could always visit the famous
Bora Bora beach bar on Playa den Bossa beach for cocktails by day, by night go to Ibiza town, then when everywhere is closed go to the Space night club in Playa den Bossa. Head back to the quiet town of
Figueretas and have a relaxing few days, eating fabulous Spanish cuisine, the best of both worlds!
